BIO
I was born in Saigon, where during the Vietnam war my mother and I were fortunate enough to make our way to the U.S. As a Vietnamese girl growing up in Texas, I developed a great degree of resilience and determination, both which would one day serve me well in this profession. After majoring in dance at UT Austin, I moved to Los Angeles to chase my dreams. A typical LA survival story ensued of waitressing until working my way up to restaurant management, all while squeezing in dance auditions, assistant stylist gigs and any other means of trying to make it. One fateful day a good friend offered me a job to temp as a receptionist at a production company. They were prepping a
Michael Jackson music video and needed a choreographer. With my dance background, I jumped at the chance to help them research for one and that is precisely when I caught the film production bug. I eagerly began to learn everything I could about the industry and never looked back.
With a lot of enthusiasm and with the support of a lot of great people I moved up the ranks in production. I met my husband in Italy and moved there to help him run his Italian production service company specializing in US and UK productions. We eventually returned to the U.S. and settled in LA where I work both locally and traveling around the world to produce commercials. I have been lucky and privileged to work with incredibly talented people throughout my career and still find myself thrilled yet humbled on every job after 20+ years in the business.
My hope is to continue to collaborate with great people while helping directors realize their visions for many years to come.
